Harbour Road

A road leading from the village towards the harbour and the coast. Harbour Road provides access to the harbour shore and the footpaths around the nature reserve. Properties along the road are a mix of bungalows and houses, some with views across the harbour. The road is used by walkers heading to the harbour and by residents of the scattered properties along its length. During high tides and storm surges, the lower sections of Harbour Road can be affected by flooding. The road ends at the harbour edge, where the built environment gives way to saltmarsh, shingle and open water.
