Pagham Harbour Nature Reserve
Nature, Pagham
A tidal harbour and nature reserve of international importance, managed by the RSPB and Natural England. The reserve covers around 600 hectares of mudflats, saltmarsh, shingle and open water, supporting overwintering populations of brent geese, dunlin, grey plover and redshank. Little terns breed on the shingle in summer. Footpaths around the harbour provide circular walks of varying lengths, and birdwatching hides offer close views of the birdlife.
