Rose Green
Suburban residential area with local shops, popular with retirees
A residential area on the western edge of the Pagham parish, bordering Aldwick and Bognor Regis. Rose Green is predominantly a twentieth-century residential development, with bungalows and houses built from the 1930s onwards. The area has its own small parade of shops on Rose Green Road, including a convenience store and a fish and chip shop, which gives it a degree of self-sufficiency. Rose Green Road connects the area to the B2166 and to Bognor Regis. The character is suburban and quiet, with tree-lined streets and well-kept front gardens. Rose Green sits at the boundary between Pagham and Aldwick, and residents use services in both areas. The flat terrain and proximity to the coast make it popular with retired residents.
